For the entire month of November our parish will pray for the repose of the souls of all our dearly faithfully departed. You are welcome to enter names in the Book of the Dead, any day this month of your loved ones to be prayed for at all our November Masses. This Book of the Dead is on a small stand by the baptismal font. Please put your Mass offerings in the ALL SOULS envelopes provided and put in Offering Basket or bring to our Parish Office during business hours.

 TIS’ THE SEASON FOR JOYFUL GIVING 2019

CHURCH OF THE TRANSFIGURATION CHRISTMAS PROJECT

 OUR PARISH IS CURRENTLY MAKING PLANS TO PROVIDE GIFTS and A HOLIDAY TURKEY FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY.

PARISHIONERS CAN SHARE IN THIS PROJECT BY:

Donating Gift Cards: The gift tags on our Christmas Project Tree will be labeled with gift cards from various stores. Please attach the gift tag to your donated gift card and leave it in Santa’s mailbox next to the Project Tree in the Church vestibule or bring the tag and the gift card to the Parish Office.

The Christmas Project Tree will be set up at Church the weekend of November 16th.  GIFTS are DUE BY DEC. 8th!

Donating Packaging Supplies: Bring in rolls of wrapping paper and large gift bags.  No cardboard boxes are needed.

Volunteering: The parish gift wrap party will be held Wednesday, December 11th at 6pm in Mount Tabor Hall. All parishioners are welcome to attend. 

Set up for the Christmas Project will take place at Mount Tabor Hall  on Thursday, December 12th at 9:30am.  Volunteers, who plan to be part of the Gift Give Away team, should arrive at Mount Tabor Hall on Saturday, December 14th at 9am.

The families are scheduled to pick up their packages from 10am to 12pm.

This First Friday of the Month Mass will be at 8:45 a.m.  Our daily mass will include the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and Eucharistic Adoration until 10:30 a.m. 

If you would like to be anointed or know of someone who would like to celebrate this special sacrament of God's love, please encourage them to attend or bring them along with you to Mass.

 

COFFEE & DONUTS SUNDAY

 Join us for coffee & donuts every first Sunday of the Month after both of our morning Masses to coincide with the monthly birthday blessings given at each Mass! 

 

 

You are welcome to join us for Thursday Morning BIBLE STUDYIf you are unsure, just come once to check us out.  Whether you are new to bible study or, if you have experience, please come to Church of the Transfiguration's Tabor Hall:  9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

All Parishioners are invited to Pray the Rosary every Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room, next to Tabor Hall.   You are welcome to come and join us in prayer.

All are welcome to attend the AL-ANON Family Group meetings that
gather here on Sunday evenings in the Yellow Room off the
Vestibule in our church. Newcomers please arrive by 7pm. The
regular meeting is from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Al-Anon is for those with
family or friends who are problem drinkers. This is a division of
Alcoholics Anonymous. The coordinator on Sunday evenings is Ed B.
